Purchased it 3 days ago. Initially, it would run for about 3-4 minutes, after which it would go dead. So i figured out how to make it run longer; I have to tap it once, and then it comes back alive and runs for another 3-4 minutes. I dunno if this is a loose connection issue, or is this how it's supposed to work. It runs for about 1/2 hour or 45 minutes on a single charge. My younger cats do seem intrigued by this toy, but not overly entertained. After a while, they lose interest and ignore the toy. They're more interested in this rubber ball which I kick around the house, but this takes up my time. My older cat (mom cat) didn't seem interested in this toy from the start. The part of the toy which is black, has LED lights flashing, that part has vents, so dust can get into the electronics inside.
